the last apple tree leaf

Vegas had no intention of returning to his long-forgotten painting. Even the threat of legal action and fines did not deter him. All he wanted was to disappear into the gray November fog. Instead, he's spending long hours sitting by the window, watching the leaves fall from the old apple tree. One morning, the artist notices some crude drawings on the first snowfall of the year, and he's definitely determined to find out who had created them.
