Shizuka once idolized magical girls, dreaming of becoming one herself. She was captivated by the idea of saving the world from the forces of evil and serving as a beacon of hope and light. However, everything changed after the first generation of magical girls retired. The title of "magical girl" lost its meaning, shifting from heroism to mere celebrity status-a springboard for fame and stardom. No longer protectors of a world once threatened by the monstrous youmas, magical girls had become symbols of a superficial culture. The world, now safe and complacent, bored Shizuka to no end, leaving her disillusioned and disgusted by what magical girls had become.
