Daleko v divočině je les... Je velký, roste v něm hodně zeleni a žije hodně kořisti. A samozřejmě, má i své obyvatele. Žijí zde tři klany koček. Noční klan. Šeptající klan a Stromový klan. Žili v harmonii, tedy ve většině případů. Každý z klanů má své území, svou kořist, a každý klan má jiné schopnosti. Šeptající klan jsou tiché, mrštné, a nenapadné kočky. Stromový klan jsou silné, a mohutné kočky co umí dobře lést po stromech. A noční klan jsou kočky rychlé, tajemné a hlavně loajální kočky se schopností vidění ve tmě.
Jednoho dne se všechno změnilo... Kočky začali mizet. Každou nov zmizela kočka a klany se navzájem začali podezřívat. I v jednotlivých klanech plula vzájemná nedůvěra.... Mlha byla vyčerpaná... nechtěla toto snášet. Kam mizí kočky? Kdo to dělá? Mlha se modlila k hvězdnému klanu aby to byli jen lišky. Ale v hloubi duše věděla že zrádce je mezi kočkami. Bylo tu i mnohem více problémů co jí trápili. Nezi klany panovalo napětí a hrozilo že vypukne bitva. Co když zemřou její přátelé?! Měla tolik otázek. 
Ale ty si teď zodpovědět nemůže. Jinak se nějaký temný stín připlíží a roztrhne jí hrdlo... Musí být na pozoru... Kdo za tím stojí?
