this is a crossover au called cupcakes: the last batch ! here is some lore: pinkie pie, ruby, quack, kipper, and pango all used to be humans and were put into these cartoon characters' bodies. toby met them somehow, along with his little step sister pearl.
they all became close friends in this little alternate universe of theirs, but unbeknownst to toby, ruby, and the others, pinkie pie was actually a cannibalistic serial killer and pearl was her apprentice.
ruby and toby wind up dying, getting stuffed, and having their organs baked into pastries, ruby being the first of the friends to go. the others could die, maybe not. you'll have to see. i will make a book on how toby died and his final interactions with pearl. ruby probably not.
