RILEY ATTICUS is a prodigy.

He's taken the dancing world by storm, approaching a traditional sport, ballet, in an untraditional way. There isn't a soul in the dance world who doesn't know who he is, and that fame is beginning to leak into other worlds he doesn't know if he wants to be apart of.

Freshly 19, Riley is still living under his parent's roof. Money's tight, and the only reason he's able to attend the prestigious Archwood University is because of his dance scholarship. His mom is unsupportive, overbearing, and passive-aggressive. Every jab and snipe she makes chips away, and Riley is worried there wont be anything left when she's done.

But then she shoves a basketball schedule into his hands, and suddenly he's chasing after stray balls on the sidelines of a cutthroat court, trying to ignore the stares of a guy he swears is some kind of criminal.

Basketball is his every breath, every piece of his soul. He's talked about all throughout the sports world, called a 'once in a generation' talent as long as he could remember. There isn't a part about the game he doesn't love or can't do. He's well-known around campus as the hot and talented captain of a D1 basketball team in his sophmore year, mysterious and elusive with mafia-clad rumors trailing his every step.

Approaching 21, Santiago is fighting to make sure he's a household name. The NBA is his biggest dream, so close and yet seemingly years away. But the looming threat of taking the spot of Dominus, the leader of the Moreńo Mafia takes omnipresence over all else. And of course, questioning of his sexuality has Santiago distracted alongside his preparation for the succession of the Moreńo throne. He can't afford to be anything but focused.

Until he lays his eyes on his team's newest ballboy, cute and confused, and it feels like his fate is sealed.
