But we have managed to survive and persevere despite everything that has happened. The year 2147 was a year of hope for us, with the arrival of the Golik, an alien race, who were kind and wanted nothing more than to help us. Alongside the Golik, we had five years of peace and prosperity with them, both races gaining knowledge from the other and building to create a wonderful relationship with the other. "You disappeared after you..." I pause and shake my head. I feel embarrassed to say it out loud to him. I feel embarrassed at how much it affected me. Our planet had been on the way to destruction same as many others. However, we were able to turn it around but not without major irreversible genetic damage. It had been many years since a new female has been born on Uvis. We had set out and tried many other planets to find suitable breedable females. After much testing only one planet would work. Gaia or as the inhabitants called it Earth. We had been testing certain ones quietly. Working with their planet's leaders for a few years and have gotten the okay to reach out to the females of this planet. Everything was fine one day the next we kept losing power and then the announcements form the leaders and from an actual freaking alien! The offer was a good one for some, but could they be trusted?
