In the year 3192, humanity has transcended its planetary origins, colonizing over 85% of its home galaxy and expanding into 10-15% of neighboring galaxies. Amid this era of staggering technological advancement, Alex Mardakov-a brilliant bioscientist specializing in bioorganic weaponry-serves as a lead researcher for the military. Tasked with finalizing a revolutionary bioweapon that could end a devastating intergalactic war, Alex becomes the target of an enemy nation's covert operation.
During a sabotage attempt aboard a classified military vessel, a stray bullet strikes a prototype superengine, triggering a catastrophic wormhole event. The explosion annihilates nearly everyone on board-except Alex. To survive the aftermath, he is forced to use the bioweapon on himself, merging his biology with unstable synthetic enhancements.
When he regains consciousness, Alex discovers he has been flung into an isolated timeline: 16th century America, in the midst of the infamous witch hunts. With no way back and his body altered beyond recognition, he must navigate a hostile world of superstition, fear, and primitive science
(Hi i'm trying something new with this one so basically I'm inspired to write this after watching a certain movie and after having a dream about that movie and adding a little twist on my own I was inspired to write this of course I won't go into details as to which movie it was but hopefully you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed writing it.
Also just be aware I'm not doing a historical fiction here while I will try to keep it as historically accurate as possible just know I'm not gonna do too much research on this so just know if I get something wrong here it's not my fault and I'm sure you can understand it's not historical fiction because this is more like a Sci-fi, adventure, time travel genre. So just know this is the first time I'm doing something like this with this kind of idea and setting but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless)

Now then. You're probably wondering what this place is? To answer that, we must go to the past. 4.5 billion years in the future from our current time, Earth's sun began to expand from burning up all its fuel. Humanity, having managed to get their act together and advance space travel, avoided their extinction and evacuated the planet, feeling their solar system out unto the stars. Many years passed by in stasis and in future generations. Eventually, humanity found themselves a new home. But alas, nothing worth having is easy to keep. Extradimensional entities known as Developers, named as such due to them being the closest biological thing you could get to a genuine god, appeared in humanity's new home. With their metaphysical, reality warping abilities, they changed the world over. Combining the new planet with 3 others in such a manner that multiple dimensions and timeliness were rolled into one like a bunch of star bursts that were pressed and twisted together before being shaped into a ball. Thus, it resulted in the reality bending world named Asteria! Strap in ladies and gentlemen, this is gonna get crazy. (Author's note: There are many references to other, more familiar games, movies, books, and others. This includes character names and back stories, weapons, character abilities, and even in universe power system mechanics that resemble or are inspired by other media. Every single one of these references, allusions, and inspired aspects reserve any and all rights to the original owners. The only things that I own here are the general lore of the world.) (I will also say this is a narrative story adapted from a TTRPG campaign that I am currently running with a system I made. Players may come and go as they please, which will result in characters disappearing from the rest of the story. The year is 2020. Eight years have passed since the Retrovirus spread across the earth and ravaged human society. The lucky ones died horrific deaths. But most were changed, twisted into inhuman monsters called Ferals. These beasts tore cities and nations down, slaughtering, and infecting millions in their insane charge across the world. But they were not the only chimeric creatures to emerge. Other 'werewolves' had made themselves known, attacking humanity at every opportunity. Stronger, faster and tougher than the best of humanity, yet smarter and far more skilled than the Feral Hordes. The Nýúlfur. Julia is on the run, fleeing for her life. An army of vampires ravage her country, plundering villages and enslaving their occupants. With the vampire horde closing in, Julia is forced to abandon her home and head south with the hope of reuniting with her brother. There they will build a new farm and live in safety. But one vampire lord has a different plan for her future. He tracks her down and takes her captive. No matter how hopeless her situation, she never gives up, risking her life to regain her freedom. He forces her down, punishing her when her defiant spirit hinders his mission. It soon becomes clear that she's nothing like the human soldiers he's used to dealing with. A sense a guilt begins to grow whenever he upsets the girl who both fears and leans into him for protection. Julia and the vampire lord are connected in ways they had never known. I reach the end of the alley and turn to face my foe once again, but he remains where he is, still blocking my path but not approaching either. New plan: when he gets close, duck under his arms and make a run for it. Now I just have to wait. Before a minute has even passed, another armoured soldier appears and joins the first. This just keeps getting worse. How am I supposed to dodge past two of them? "What do you want now?" the new soldier grumbles. This one must be Alex. "Look at this cute little human I found. She's feisty. I think she's perfect for you." I glare at them. "I don't want a pet human. That's your disgusting fetish, and I'll have no part in it." "Oh come on Captain," the first soldier whines, "You don't have to fuck her, just train her to be obedient. Surely you can control one measly wild human? You are a captain after all. When you're done, you can just get rid of her, like I do with my humans." What the fuck? For a brief moment my fear is replaced by anger. Who do they think they are, talking about me like I'm some kind of wild animal? "Get the fuck away from me! You freaks!" I screech. The first soldier just flashes an evil grin. They don't budge. And, if it works, a small percentage of the time, the subjects are let loose, given a certain freedom they had never experienced. And that's what I had now. Freedom. After around ten years of making sure my neural system was intact, the metal surrounding me grew with my body and the batteries didn't poison my immune system, I was given the option of getting out of CARESS, also known as Centre of Adolescents in Rehab after the Effect of Scientific Surgery, and live a normal life. Well, as normal as it could get for a teenage girl with giant metal wings stuck behind her back. ~~~~~~~~ "You remind me of Maleficent... But with blue wings... And definitely more badass." "Who?" " You know, the girl that poisoned Sleeping beauty?" "I repeat. Who?" "We are so watching that.
