You were supposed to be retired in Alaska, living quietly after years in the field. But when the CIA came knocking with an ultimatum: return to duty or spend the rest of your life behind bars - you answered the call. After all, it's hard to outrun a past built in blood and legend, especially when you're the daughter of the greatest warrior of the 20th century.
Thrown back into a world you swore you'd left behind, you find yourself fighting alongside Price and against the parts of yourself you thought you buried. Somewhere between the missions, the silence, and the scars, a love begins to take shape.

The 141 being snowed under with intel and digital tech they can't decipher, ask Laswell to send them a Digital Specialist to assist them. She is not what Ghost expects and she triggers changes in his life that he never expected to experience. This is a slow burn friendship/love story. I wanted to give Simon 'Ghost' Riley some much needed love, happiness and comfort. The story doesn't follow the events of the Modern Warfare stories, but does borrow details from canon. Task force 141 went out on a mission. soap and ghost get separated and things go downhill. as this is all happening the two of them slowly start to see what they have for each other is mor than just wanting to keep each other safe and playing around. though because of Soaps internal homophobia and ghost never going to accept that he even liked the Scott. not much longer later, another mission is called on. task 141 goes, and things take a dark turn.
