If you think Sirius Black did not wear eyeliner in the 70's, you are wrong. He absolutely did. He stole it from Lily and Marlene until they bought him his own, and he strutted the halls of Hogwarts with his eyes rimmed in bold black. The teachers couldn't tell him it was against the rules because they didn't know what it was. And next came the shiny gold type. Every girl in Gryffindor was jealous that it didn't look as good on them. It made Remus bite his lip and go weak in the knees. Sirius found himself blinking dramatically up at Moony a lot more often once he noticed this.

A wolfstar AU (no-magic) {a relatively short story} The 1970s, a wonderful time of bold makeup, bell-bottom jeans, vinyl shops, police brutality and rampant homophobia. You get the gist. In which, Remus Lupin is a fresh-faced wallflower just out of college, supporting his community in miniature efforts, as to not get noticed. Sirius Black, maybe not as fresh-faced but still just out of college, is, let's say, a little bolder. He's happy to be noticed - even happier when it's the freckled boy that hides in the library. Disclaimer: my parents weren't even a twinkle in someone's eyes in the 70s. Historical accuracy isn't going to be my focus point; but I'll try my best. And obviously, I don't own the main characters, but I wish I did. ::::::Without context, I'm sorry in advance. (: :: a chapter will include what I think it needs to - some will definitely be shorter than others. ::It is finished, but some filler chapters might yet be added.

The way Remus could say the most harmful thing looking so adorable with his reading glasses and a book on his hand. How lucky Sirius had been and how stupid he had been to not realize it sooner. Sirius had been a complete asshole and this was his punishment. Gracious God. His mother was right, Sirius was born deficient, and this was the proof. Oh Lord. Oh, Frederic Mercury and all the Queens. Oh, Star Dog in the sky. Sirius Orion Black was in love with Werewolf McWerewolf, completely and over heels in love. And now it was too late. Wolfstar Muggle AU. Based on the movie Life as We Know It. James and Lily die and leave their baby Harry in charge of Sirius and Remus. Fluff and light comedy. Lots of flashbacks with Jily so don't worry, very little Angst.
