Ravi grew up reaching for the stars. Now he works as a space scientist, trying to understand the universe that once took everything from him.

Sanu was born from light, made to carry the pain of others. He knows the stars better than anyone because he was made among them. He was sent to Earth once to take away the sorrow of a small boy who lost his siblings in a fire.

Years later, Ravi does not remember that night, but Sanu does. He remembers the warmth of the boy's heart, the pain he took, and the light he left behind. When they meet again, something in the air between them feels familiar, quiet, heavy, almost divine.

Sanu has a mission to take the pain and sorrow from Ravi, and in the process, they begin to feel something more, something that was never meant to exist.
