Reze was trained to be a bomb, not a person.
But in Tokyo, pretending to be a normal girl is part of the mission. She gets the apartment. She gets the café job. She memorizes her fake name, her fake school, her fake smile. All to get close to the Chainsaw Devil. All to win a war she never chose.
But memory is messy. And the past doesn't stay buried.
As she navigates crowded trains and quiet coffee shops, fragments of her training resurface, the snow, the camp, the voice that taught her how to kill.
And beneath it all, the question she was never allowed to ask:
