Marianne needs a story to save her career before her father overules her and sends her off to College.  A story comes from the oddest place, one which is over a decade old in a time when the world was at war.  A tragedy gone unsolved and it isn't long before Marianne becomes consumed with finding the truth, no matter what the cost.  At least that's what she thinks.
