Deux has always been the loud one-the carefree laugh, the easy smile, the one who never takes things too seriously.

So no one notices when something starts to change.

It begins quietly. Conversations that linger longer than they should. Familiarity that feels too deliberate. Attention that makes his chest ache in ways he doesn't fully understand. Somewhere between jokes and late nights, Deux finds himself feeling seen-wanted-even cherished.

But not everything that feels real is honest.

While emotions grow naturally on his side, there are things left unsaid around him. Glances exchanged when he's not looking. Conversations that stop when he enters the room. A closeness that seems genuine, yet oddly rehearsed.

And when the truth slowly surfaces, Deux is forced to confront a painful realization:
sometimes, people don't fall in love at the same time-or for the same reasons.
