Cure (Rewrite)

*I don't know if anyone will read this, but I wanted to rewrite and modify this book seeing as it's one of my most read books. I will also be changing the names of the characters along with some of story line to make it fit more into the format of writing. I really hope if any old readers enjoy this as much as the older version and new ones enjoy it just as much*

The year is 2030 and news of an attack on the nation's capital spread faster than a wild fire. Rumors began circulating "There was a terrorist attack on D.C" "It was a hoax" anything that you imagine could be said was said. The truth a lab created disease called X that results in an infection that slowly corrupts the brain. The infection develops with four different stages each one having great effects on the body and mind. Some people couldn't handle the first stage and ended up taking their lives before it could get worse. Some died as soon as they were infected due to the rapid spread throughout the blood stream and some the ones that weren't lucky slowly turned into something that lacked empathy, humanity and morality.

This disease didn't just take your life it made you into something that was sinister. These things would do everything in their power to kill anything they catch. Some victims don't get the luxury of death they get infected and that horrific cycle repeats and slowly takes the person it infected. Our story follows a group of young adults trying to survive in this new world and face more than just out side conflict, but emotional conflict and some situations that most adults wouldn't be sane after.
