Things are going well for Dick. He's moved out of the manor into his own penthouse, landed himself his dream job as a rookie detective with the Gotham police force, and is spending his nights saving the people of his city as Nightwing. He feels like his entire life is on track, and he's only nineteen. Sweet, right? In fact, things are going so well that he really should have expected them to go wrong. Things are not going well for Jack. Even prison, it seems, can't keep his enemies away. And when the man hunting his is so much more powerful than he thought, who can he trust? Not the Joker, with whom he's forged a temporary alliance. And definitely not Nightwing, who Jack had an instrumental role in kidnapping and extorting. But trust often gets thrown out the window in favour of survival.
