When Eleanor 'Ellie' Taylor leaves behind a life shadowed by loss, Bondi becomes her new beginning. A place where saltwater stings but also soothes. Between rescues, friendships, and the unspoken bond of her team, she learns that healing isn't found on calm shores alone, but also in surviving the rough waves. From the laughter of the tower to the roar of the sea, from the TV shoots to personal life, Ellie discovers that every break - in waves, in love, in life holds the power to rebuild. But when her past resurfaces, she must decide if she's ready to swim toward it or let it drift her away. A fan fiction based on the Australian non-fiction TV show Bondi Rescue. I do not own Bondi Rescue and do not claim anything as my own aside from Hadlee and the storyline. This is a FANFICTION. I do my best with facts and speech. Although I am not from Australia, I try to look up common and popular slang terms and phrases. I know that some epilepsy facts aren't entirely accurate, and I am trying my best to make them as precise as possible. Hadlee Reid, 20-year-old sister of Bondi lifeguard Harrison Reid, has recently moved from New Zealand to live with her brother after her parents had decided that her condition was too much for them to handle. Hadlee is an epileptic; she relies on medication and the occasional lucky streak to keep her from going into sudden convulsions. Harrison, one of the only members in their family who accepted Hadlee's circumstances, was beyond happy to have his sister come and live with him in Australia, but now he faces another problem. He has kept most of his home life a secret from his fellow lifeguards. Now, he must adapt to having the responsibility of his sister in his care and keep his duties at work unaffected. But when the lifeguards find out about Hadlee and her condition in an unplanned manner, how will they take it? And how will Harrison take it when Hadlee and one of his fellow lifeguards take a liking to each other? First book in the Epi(lepti)c Series.
