May's eyebrows pull together, and she echoes, "You know?"

He freezes, the familiar sting of regret burning in his chest. She couldn't say what he thought she was. She didn't know his mum.

"Sorry," He mumbles, rubbing the back of his neck, "What were you going to say?"

May bites her lip, then a small, tentative smile slips.

"They're like Welsh Greens."
