Grayson Hawke carries the pressure of a future he can't afford to lose. Ice hockey is his whole life. Aside from his two best friends, nothing else matters.

Iva Moreaux is on her final college placement, and that happens to be none other than the college ice hockey team. They're rowdy, aggressive, and quite frankly way too scary for her liking. Making friends on the team was the last thing she was expecting.

But when the two cross paths, it suddenly seems like there's space for a third in Grayson's small circle of friends. Until his long-lasting injury worsens, and Iva's professional advice isn't something he can see himself following.
