In the kingdom of Eirvale, no fairy has seen the sky in a hundred years. The mist is their cage - silver, soft, and endless. But Liora, a fairy with wings like morning dew, dreams of sunlight she's never known. When a voice from beyond the fog whispers her name, she dares the unthinkable: to rise. Her choice will shatter the Queen's law, awaken forgotten memories, and teach a world bound by fear what it means to be free. A tale of light, courage, and destiny - where even the mist remembers the sky.

Sixteen-year-old Jayda Willow doesn't live on Earth. She's an orphan, living with a foster family on a distant planet named Endaria populated and ruled by giants that humans escaped to after Earth's resources were depleted. In a desperate attempt to join her mother in the detention center, Jayda burns down her foster family's house, and is brought before the overseeing giant of their human township, Marcelo Aricci, who's only a little bit older than Jayda herself. Marcelo decides to take Jayda as his own instead of sending her to the detention center-a fact that she initially resents, until she uncovers the truth behind his motives. Marcelo is part of a progressive movement that advocates for a more integrated community between humans and giants. Soon Jayda is drawn into his world and assisting him on secret missions to the capital in an attempt to start a revolution-and find her mom again, who may have been taken to the seventh moon, El Arayra. Through it all, her feelings for Marcelo grow into something Jayda never dreamed was possible, and she's forced to admit that everything she once believed about giants was wrong.
