Meet Ashley Johnson. She isn't the typical cliché nerd that has no friends and sits at the back of the classroom, in fact she isn't a nerd at all. However, we all know that high school labels each and every one of us as something and Ashley just happens to be labelled a 'nerd'.

But, in reality, she is the girl who doesn't give a damn what other people think of her, the girl who is crazy and completely random yet not afraid for people to see that side of her. But one thing she is afraid of is letting people in, especially ones who have hurt her before.

Now, meet Bradley Anderson. The arrogant popular boy. Bradley's changed, he acts like he doesn't care but in reality he does - somewhere deep down.

It's hard to believe, since Ashley hates his guts more than anything, Bradley and her used to be the bestest of friends until something caused them to grow apart.

Feelings.

What happens when Bradley moves next door?

What happens when they start talking again?

Will those feelings, that died, return?

Why does every fight feel like foreplay? And why does hating him hurt more than it should? ~~~~~~ He kisses me, again and again, raw and consuming, and then pulls away; I can feel his green eyes piercing my soul. "What you told me last time, say it again," he whimpers breathlessly. "What?" I manage to ask, confused, and reel him in again for another kiss. He pulls back again, his breath hot against my skin. "That you hate me, tell me that you hate me." "I hate you," I tell him almost instantly, the lie burning on my tongue. He kisses me harder and more hungrily, and the words slip out again from my tongue: "I hate you. I hate you. I hate you." His murmurs deepen into groans, and at this exact moment, I ask myself how I'm still standing, still breathing, still present. ~~~~~~
