Claret has been stuck in Derry for fifteen long years, and she is...bored. Working at the library is fine, but all she does is live in the fairy tales of her favorite books. Running from a past that she can't seem to shake, Claret is drifting through life. That is until one day, while in the forest on the edge of Derry, she comes across the creature that has been slumbering for 27 long years, calling upon its next prey: a little girl from town. Claret doesn't expect to make it out alive, but this new monster likes to play with it's food...
I only own Claret as a character and the plot of this fanfiction, everything else such as Pennywise and the town of Derry belongs to its original owner. Takes places during the events of IT Chapter Two.

Disclaimer: There will be references from the It novel and the 1990s movie version, but this fanfic mostly follows the 2017-2019 storyline.
