At the Demi-Human ward of the Barrie Mental Health Centre, Ashtyn Afonso visits Chloe Robinson at the request of Ashtyn's vampire best friend and Chloe's older brother, Oscar Robinson. As Ashtyn herself also tries to move past the psychological scars left by her deceased ex-boyfriend, Kayden, a closeness between the two develops as they share the burden of each other's past.
(And yes, my lovelies, this does take place in the same universe as my other novel 'The Manga Club's President Is A Succubus' ☆⌒(≧▽° ) However, it's written to be a STANDALONE story, not a sequel)
Note: This isn't supposed to be my next big book project, but I kinda need something to write about, as I've been having a stressful time at home. Expect this to be a shorter novel (20 chapters).
