Natsu Dragneel one the most wealthiest men in Fiore, a man with influence and power. But who is rumored -- no one on the outside can prove it -- is the head leader of the Fairy Tail mafia. He is known to be a man who moves in silence, doesn't do too much, a man who is well respected.

Lucy Heartfilia was once the heir of her family's fortune, a beautiful woman who was destined to an arranged marriage, but did not want any of the riches or even the fame that the money came with. Knowing her family's dark secrets and what they do in shadows, she wanted no part of that life. All she wanted was tranquility, security, a safe place where she could work towards becoming an author.

So what does Lucy do? She runs away, far away to the city of Magnolia where no one has heard of the Heartfilia name. Where she can be who she really is without the pressure of her father and his demands.

But the world works in mysterious ways. When Lucy decides to take a job at a restaurant not really known for its food or much at all -- unaware it is the front for Fairy Tail's operations -- she has an unexpected encounter with Fairy Tail's leader, Natsu who is more than intrigued by their encounter. Not sure why or how, but he feels drawn to the beautiful blonde haired and brown eyed maiden.

Between loyalty and love, secrets and survival, will their hearts burn brighter than the chaos around them?
