The story follows Bailey, a then 16 year-old girl who has always felt out of place in her ordinary world. With short dark-brown hair, blue eyes, and a love for T-shirts and jeans, she's just an average kid - until a mysterious man named Geno appears and tells her the truth about who she really is.
Bailey, he reveals, was never meant to live on Earth. She was born a Dimension Synthesizer - a guardian and leader of another world known as the Kane Dimension. Geno himself is the Synthesizer of that realm, and Bailey was supposed to be part of the Kane imension, not as a normal resident there, but as the leader of multiple dimensions, making her part of the dimensional counsel. But long ago, when Bailey was just a newborn, she was stolen from her home world by another Synthesizer named Ar'ene.
Ar'ene, who ruled over the dark and terrifying Sinthe Dimension, once shared a deep friendship with Geno. She was like family - until jealousy consumed her. When she learned that a new Synthesizer would one day rise to become the most powerful being in the universe, she panicked. Determined not to be replaced, Ar'ene kidnapped the infant Bailey, and hid her on Earth, where no one would think to search.
Using her powers, Ar'ene erased the memories of a human family and made them believe Bailey was their daughter. Then she vanished back into the Sinthe world, sealing off every portal behind her. The Sinthe realm itself is a nightmare Ar'ene's strength was forged through that chaos; she learned to command the shadows and survive what no one else could.
