Color My World is about Grace, a thirteen year old with synesthesia. There are tons of different types of Synesthesia, each person who has this condition isunique. Grace has three types of synesthesia; Color, Sound, and Gustatory synesthesia. Color synesthesia causes her to see letters and numbers in different colors. Sound synesthesia causes her to see shapes when she hears certain noises. Gustatory synesthesia causes her to taste certain things when she hears or sees certain words. Grace struggles to keep her condition a secret, afraid that if anyone finds out, she will be judged and made fun of. But when she meets and befriends the new boy, Preston, she just may find that some people are just as accepting as they seem.
