It had been one year since aliens landed on earth, one year since Raya had lost her only friend in this world. Even before the Stellites had taken over, she was accustomed to feeling less than human. Having been a street rat for years, and feeding off of trash cans or begging for change. Still, nothing could have prepared her for this.
Humans had become pets, accessories, and entertainment for them. Forced to be treated as house maids, rarely allowed to speak or to eat without permission. Those were the lucky ones though, the unlucky ones were the entertainers. Entertainers were forced to sing and dance, and if they were good enough they were forced to compete to the death.
Ray had deemed her life just barely tolerable up until she was sold to a rich Stellite, where she would soon be forced to compete. After watching many people die at the hands of the Stellites, she soon becomes determined to find a way to rebel against them. Ray would rather die fighting than die in their wicked games.

In the distant future, aliens have taken over earth and become top of the food chain. Humans have been reduced to a meer accesory, much like how we treated animals before. But not every human-or animal for that matter-is equal. Some humans are used as cheap gifts and treated like such. They have no formal education, communcating with animalistic grunts and groans to express their wants and desires. These humans are marketed as easy. All they need is food, water, and shelter to survive. There is enough of them that their is no need for the aliens to worry about their longetivity. But other humans are more special. Used for entertainment on the wider scale. Idols, they are called. The appeal of idols has been around for centuries, a person who brings joy and a sense of otherworldy escape through music and dance. Today, there are many programs aiming to train the new generation of humans who will capture the hearts of the alien public. But there is a new rising contender in town: Alien stage. The premise is simple: Children are raised together in an artfical, heavily montired, facility, where they train to become idols together. Once they reach adolosence they engage in a deadly bracket style competion, where they compete to see who the best idol is. This year is particularly exicting. The handlers heard the backlash regarding the unfairness last years winner, the biologically enginered Idol Dionne. So they decided to bring in some new heat to spice things upp: Bereinger and Aruvia, ranked number 2 and 3 respectively on a global popularity scale. Fans are aching with curiosity, wondering how these two fan favorites are gonna fair against the ruthless Dionne.

The Ditches
Banished to planet Arrah. Scarred. And mentally unstable. Ramet needs help, but at the moment she's self-medicating on copious amounts of booze. It's fine though, she has a job, that's she's actually good at, fighting at The Ditches. And she makes enough money to continue to drink enough to forget about her past. But one night out drinking changes everything. Ramet meets Hara, beautiful, seductive and enticing, and from there things get complicated. Through Hara, Ramet is dragged into a crime syndicate and her new boss Whyan is a mean bastard. Still, Ramet rolls with the punches and tries to make the best of a bad situation, and a move on Hara, whilst drunk, of course. However, when Ramet realises Hara's life is in danger she begins to wonder if going with the flow is worth it. Plans aren't Ramet's forte and when things backfire on her final job for Whyan, she has to act fast, trust a government official to do the right thing, and try and stay alive in the process. One last fight. One last drink. And then happily ever after is within Ramet's grasp. It's just ... forever is a long time. She's saved by a native who dislikes humans as much as the next guy but shes intent on sticking by his side in order to survive.
