Sometimes life is a lot like the ocean. Beautiful and serene. Infinite and deep. Unpredictable. Dangerous. Deadly. There are no guarantees in life. One minute it can be perfect, and the next minute it's churning with chaos and trouble. Like the gentle swell of lulling waves, the cycle of my life was steady, but the tides shifted when I was kidnapped by pirates. Suddenly thrown into unpredictable currents, will I manage to keep my head above water? Or will the undertow drag me into a new life of darkness? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *This story is set in modern day
