Adrian Vale, the young envoy of the U.S. Department of State, is mistakenly assigned to the same hotel room as Lucien Ardent, the envoy of the rival nation, the Republic of Velhara, during a United Nations peace summit. The two countries are on the brink of war. Forced into a "peace-focused joint project," the pair begin a tense collaboration under a cloud of diplomatic frost. Yet body language can be as complex as political discourse - and this time, diplomacy unfolds more between the sheets than across the negotiating table. The line between personal desire and national duty grows increasingly blurred. Is love a diplomatic mistake - or the truest peace treaty of all?

James McAllister, a shy, introspective, gay American teen, arrives in St. Petersburg as an exchange student, seeking adventure, independence, and a chance to reinvent himself in a place where no one knows him. He is immediately paired with Nikolai, a quiet, thoughtful Russian boy who becomes his guide, translator, and anchor in a city that feels at once enchanting and overwhelming. Meanwhile, Nikolai wrestles with a quiet, unspoken crush on James, a mix of admiration, protectiveness, and deepening desire that he suppresses, compounded by internalized homophobia and fear of rejection. As James begins to notice a charismatic classmate, Nikolai's internal conflict intensifies, torn between jealousy and the desire to remain the steadfast friend James relies on. || Started: August 31st 2025
