In the sacred stillness of the cosmos, where the echoes of ancient wisdom dance among the celestial bodies, a message emerges-a tapestry woven with the threads of light and shadow, of the eternal and the ephemeral. For a prophecy has been revealed to those who possess the ears to hear and the eyes to see, for those who want peace from the Everlasting War.
The star falls from the sky, ancient and knowing. It crashes into the ground, seeping into the earth, crawling through the dirt and mush of the marshes. As it moves, plants of all kinds grow in its wake. From small shrubs to glowy leaves on fast-sprouting willow trees. The world becomes...more lively. It passes through the battlefields, halting war as change doesn't just become a thing...it becomes real and alive. Many of them fall to their knees, praying to the stars for mercy. All weapons drop to the ground, the offensive becoming neutral as they, too, pray to the stars.
	For life to be different.
	For change.
And the stars do exactly that.
Blinding light illuminates the sky, changing everyone the light touches, burning like a thousand suns. Changing them completely. To powerful beings. Resurrecting the dead into monsters of only myths, only now turned real.
And that star that crashed into the earth? It becomes one with a soul, rebirthing every generation to the new Chosen One. The one that will end all wars. The one that will end the greatest war to come in a thousand millennia.
The Everlasting War.

In the days when moons ruled the tides of hearts and stars whispered the names of queens, there was once a princess born beneath the silver sky of Bright Moon. Her name was Y/N, the Moon's first daughter, a child whose laughter could stir the blossoms and whose light could chase away the longest night. But the heavens are jealous of their own miracles. During the war that tore Etheria, the princess vanished-stolen by shadows, her name silenced, her crown buried in mourning. Bright Moon wept, believing their jewel lost forever. Only a single pearl bracelet remained, gleaming like a tear upon the ground. Years turned like pages. The shadowed armies rose, and among them walked a warrior called Nephele-a girl with eyes like fading dusk, strength like tempered dawn, and a heart caged by memory. None knew she was the lost princess, shaped by the sorceress who had stolen her, taught to wield power instead of grace. It was said that when She-Ra's sword met the horizon, the light of the lost moon would return. And so it came to pass: in one battle fierce enough to shake the constellations, Nephele's disguise burned away, revealing Y/N-the Moon Reborn, her horns of pearl shining through her hair, her tail trailing a star. The world held its breath, for the tale was true: the moonlight never dies, it only hides until the heart remembers its name. And those who had loved her-sisters, soldiers, even the golden knight who called her his wife in jest-saw in her the legend of old reborn: a queen who had walked through shadow and returned carrying dawn in her hands. Thus the bards still sing in Bright Moon's halls: "The cloud may fall, but the moon will rise again."

Princess Serena felt she was doomed to live a dreary, protected existence in the palace that she was prepared to end. Even once she inherits the title of Queen, the kingdom of Eden would never cease to protect its flower. Her fear of living a dull life ate at her until her tempting first love, Caius, renters it. He vows to free her of her sorrows with a promise of magic, adventure, and passion. She thought he would bring her the excitement she had been looking for, but joining her deadly infatuation would wilt Eden's flower to the brink of agony. ------------------------------------------------------------------- When he turned his ear to me, I noticed that I could see the right side of his mouth. I've used it as a substitute for eye contact. When he smirked just now, I felt myself tremble. "There's a corpse of my creation at my feet Serena. What makes you think I'm devout to religion?" That explains his willingness to sin. "You're a virtuous woman for keeping to your vows, but I am by no means a virtuous man." His intent to court me is not pure. It's certainly from his heart, but his cause is not only for my love. There's something that he must prove to me now... Whether his will is enough to turn me against my virtues. With each passing day I'm growing more weary that it might be. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Cover art by Erika De Luca on ArtStation This story if the first of a series Word Count: 147,000 Please read the introduction for triggers! Published: 22-6-2020 This is part 2 of The Dark Realm series There are two things Emma fears most; Returning to the realm that caused her so much pain, and letting her loved ones die. However she cannot avoid both fears. If she doesn't return to the Dark Realm, She will lose a very close friend of hers. Prologue: "So anyway, what do you want in exchange for your service?" I asked hoping he wouldn't go overboard. He leaned in and whispered in my ear, "It's pretty simple. I want you to owe me a favor. Just to be clear on the rules, you have to do what I ask you to whenever you're told to, and whatever the thing is." That's a risky game. I don't like to agree to something when I don't really know what it is. What the hell are you getting yourself into Emma? "What kind of a favor?" "That does not concern you just yet. Just remember that your little friend is almost out if time. August is near, and if you deny me my request, I'll kill that boyfriend of yours." he threatened. "And if I agree to this, when will you send me to the other realm?" "Any day next week. You choose." "OK. Deal." He put his hand out and I shook it. Two worlds One girl A mystery Dark got darker...
