When Stardust Longs for Its Origin

Some people feel like light-
soft, fleeting, and impossibly good.
They walk among us as if borrowed from the stars,
their kindness too vast for the weight of this world.
And when they leave, it feels unfair,
like the universe taking back what was never truly ours.
Maybe that's what happens to good souls-
they remember where they came from,
and the heavens simply call them home.
