Okara was a Saiyan from Planet Vegeta, but he was a strange one. He wasn't as particularly violent as many other Saiyans, yet was insanely strong. His father, Korn, was always displeased at his son's softness. So, he would train his son by sending him on missions with a Saiyan named Bardock. He was eventually rewarded with the Seven Star Dragon Ball, and held a tournament for anyone who wanted the Dragon Ball.
