[Hey guys! This is a side project of mine and purely for fun.]
This fiction will contain:

Canon typical violence

Child death

Child abuse

Psychological torture

[Subject to change]

This Fic contains many of my personal head canons and is influenced by many theories. Not much is canon here.

I am using Year one Jonathan crane for this fiction

Crying child's name is David (Credit to Dual process theory for coming up with that name!)

Batman : Testamentum formidinis by Joshkeeling83
1 part Complete
Batman: Testamentum Formidinis Dr. Jonathan Crane, the Scarecrow, is free. Pardoned by President Lex Luthor under the guise of "vigilante interference," Crane resurfaces as "Dr. J. Conrad," opening the "Institute for Mental Fortitude." His promise? A revolutionary compound that suppresses fear, freeing people to live "unburdened" lives. But this freedom comes at a terrifying cost. Crane's compound is a refined version of his infamous fear toxin, and missing a single dose unleashes an amplified terror, driving its users into psychosis. As Gotham grapples with horrifying incidents-a former Marine murdering his family, a mass casualty event in Gotham Park, and six individuals jumping to their deaths from Gotham Bridge, all eerily calm-Batman races against time. The Dark Knight soon discovers the insidious truth: Crane has created a city of ticking "fear bombs." With Luthor's pardon and a religious exemption shielding Crane, Batman must find a way to dismantle this chilling scheme. His only lead? The compound was given to minors without parental consent, a clear case of child endangerment. Deputized by the Gotham City District Attorney, Batman begins rounding up the victims, but the clock is ticking. Crane, ever the master manipulator, has one final, horrifying demonstration planned, one that will bring the true meaning of fear directly to the most powerful man in the world: President Lex Luthor himself. Can Batman stop the widespread terror before Gotham succumbs to its own darkest fears? And what will be the ultimate price of this "unburdened" existence?

Gregory is a regular 15 years old student. He lives a boring, regular life with his not-so-lovely father. School is easy, too easy. Or at least when it comes to getting the best grades in a math test. Maybe because of his father's scary behaviour whenever he would disappoint him. Sure, Evan's life may be a little different, but is it really better? Born in a rich and famous family for it's popular pizzeria company, always having anything he could ask for, his life seemed like a perfect dream for all. Maybe that's why he never had the courage to complained about how much he suffered behind the gate of his big, full of lust, house. Or maybe it was his crybaby-like personality's fault. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TW: I don't think this should be considerate as a TW, but this story contains boy x boy. Also, this story may contain mature themes such as suicide and mental/physical violence. I'm not English, and I still have a lot to learn. If you see any mistakes, please tell me so I can rectify them! :D Edit 10/07/2022: The book is done, I'm going to cry, you all are amazing, I'm going to miss this, bye best friends! And good luck reading for those who didn't yet <3 hope you enjoy! Edit 17/05/2023: Holy shit this is old I'm glad people still enjoy it! Surely my most successful book, but definitely not the best I've done.
