Me and Willow were always the same.

A trembling dog named Rain.
A curious bunny named Lottie.
And a quiet Maine Coon named Chestnut.

They talk. They follow me. They are me.

Rain carries my panic.
Lottie is my chaos.
Chestnut is the silence that never goes away.

People call me broken. The school calls me “unstable.”
But when I’m forced to join a therapy group filled with other kids who have animals too, I realize something bigger is happening—something twisted.
