That night on the astronomy tower, the game changed drastically. Dumbledore had fallen, Snape was a Death Eater, and Draco had choked, failed to kill Dumbledore. One more change happened that night; one Harry, Ron, Hermione, and all of the students of Hogwarts never could have predicted. Draco Malfoy switched sides.

The night that Harry and Dumbledore return from the cave, the Death Eaters are delayed from reaching the top of the Astronomy Tower for one more minute. Draco Malfoy lowers his wand. A Deathly Hallows rewrite in which Draco accepts Dumbledore's offer to fake his death and go into hiding with the Order of the Phoenix. - Please note that I am not the original author of this story, @speechwriter is. This story takes place a few months after the final battle, the trio returns to Hogwarts to finish school and Lucius is becoming more powerful and with an army of Death Eaters a new threat washes not only over the wizarding world but the Muggle world also.
