Naruto Uzumaki: The Red Whirlpool of Konoha

Son of Arashi Uzumaki "The Storm Hero of Konoha" and close friends with Shodaime, Naruto is brought up to a clan filled with history. But just as his shinobi career really takes off, tragedy struck when he lost his parents. Facing the potential to becoming orphaned the widowed Mito Uzumaki decided to adopt him as her own son. The redhead Uzumaki learned what it's like to have a home, just in time for the academy. Naruto meets a white-haired knucklehead pervert, a pale skinned but stoic genius, and a feisty hot-tempered blondie with a love for gambling. It would be under the formation of Team Hiruzen where Naruto got to know the unique trio. The four become the best of comrades as they are later given the name "Yonnin" by the infamous Hanzo of Amegakure. Will Naruto be able to maintain their friendship even in times of war?

A fun little what-if I had in my head. We'll see how far that goes.
