I didn't mean to lose my head, to let my wants take over. But she was there, looking at me like that. The next second, she was kissing me like I was special and I couldn't say no. At least until I did.

I had to at least know why.

Written in dual POVs, this story follows Vi and Cait's college lives as they navigate a budding romance in the midst of societal expectations, past traumas, and never ending change. Filled with passion and self preservation, their early twenties are hard enough as is to figure out, let alone with an audience.

(I wrote this to combat the heavier pieces I've written in the past about these two, so as subject matter goes it's on the less dire side of things. However reader discretion is still advised, many adult themes do come up.)
