10 parts Ongoing One thousand years ago, superstition and the sword ruled. It was a time of darkness, it was a world of fear, it was the age...of gargoyles. Stone by day, warriors by night, they were betrayed by the humans they had sworn to protect, frozen in stone by a magic spell for a thousand years. Now here in Manhattan...the spell is broken...and they live again.
But that may not be enough. This city needs more then just creatures of the night to protect it, it's going to need a hero to. I never predicted I could be that hero, but it's what my father would have wanted. And with me and my new gargoyle friends, we're going to make sure this city is protected from evil billionaires, genocidal maniacs, mutants, assassins, meta-humans, and even warmongering aliens.
