"They say the walk begins with a single step. No one talks about the last one." Spring 1972. One hundred young boys stand at the starting point of the Long Walk. Seventeen-year-old Miles Bennett knows that every step could be fatal, yet he moves forward with them. The road is endless, and the walk is unforgiving. A story inspired by Stephen King's novel - The Long Walk It takes place eight years before the original story. (May contain simple vocabulary or a few errors: budding young writer!) The original version is in French, I translated everything from French to English with google translation

SMUT ⚠️ WARNING 🔞 Four days after winning the Long Walk, Pete McVries is still walking. Broken, fevered, and half-feral, he moves like a ghost no one dares to touch-until you step in his way. You were never one for the broadcasts. You didn't cheer for the slaughter, didn't learn the winner's name, didn't want to. But when you saw him-broken, dirty, silent, his eyes empty of everything human-you couldn't let him keep going. They call him a murderer. You see a boy who lost everything. In a nation that worships cruelty, your small act of kindness becomes rebellion-and the start of something far more dangerous than love: hope. (This follows the aftermath of the movie version of 'The Long Walk' Pete is 20 years old)
