Mia, seems just like any other typical college girl. She's got the looks, the figure and the money. She seems to have got it all but no she hasn't. She covers it all with a smile but she's crumbling deep within. Following the advice of a mutual contact of hers, she downloaded an app to meet new people and lose some steam. She believes in the analogy that since the information she puts there is fake and no one knows her, she can be whoever she wants to be and do whatever she wants to. This time she plays to nobody but her own rules.

Adam Fischer, a foreign exchange student in Mia's college but in a different program. Adam has always been Mia's number one fan. To him, it all started as a silly crush because of one rushed encounter. After that,he found himself pulled towards her. Consequently, his small crush was blossoming into something deeper, more fervent and leaning into the feeling of love. He thought he had no chance on the aloof but beautiful lady so he tried to move on. Maybe if he started seeing someone he'll be able to get rid of the not so silly feelings he's got for her. Being the shy type, he went online to search for an app to connect with different people all over the world and stumbled upon surf and connect.
