Veil of Silence

Alexandra, a former intelligence analyst turned field operative, joins KorTac after her old unit collapses under suspicious circumstances. When she arrived with her reputation shattered and a past she refuses to talk about, most of the operators avoid her. Except the massive, masked soldier whose terrifying presence hides crushing social anxiety, Colonel Konig.
At first, Koing and Alexandra barely spoke, but both of them kept gravitating towards each other. When one mission goes south, he saves her life, and their strange bond begins. Alexandra becomes the only person he feels safe around and he becomes her fiercest defender.
But, when some classified Intel leaks, the suspicion falls on Alexandra. As she was branded a traitor, she went off-grid to clear her name. With that, Koing, ever the sweet boy we view him as, abandons his orders to follow her, and both of them end up trapped together in a ruined safe house. With no one else to trust, they finally reveal their vulnerabilities, hers being the fear of getting blamed again, and his being the fear of getting seen as a monster.
Together, they hunt down the real mole and return to KorTac, proving Alexandra's innocence. Konig's loyalty to her became unmistakable, and she learns to trust him. Not as a protector but as a partner. They rebuild place in the unit, a new threat looms, targeting Alexandra because of her bond with him
