For most heroes, pro and student, their first encounter with the underworld is a rude awakening.
The Underworld, to all who know of it, is a bit of a taboo topic. Meaning people typically don't have any knowledge of it. For a short explanation, if you know you know. Most of the Underworld's residents are regarded as villains, lawless people who lie and hurt and steal without consequence. But as was said previously, only by people who know.
The Underlings themselves don't really care. They live how they live. They take care of their own problems, and they like it that way.
