Australia was once a country with Carnivores and Herbivores coexisting with the Omnivores. Humans, considered class Omnivores, came out with a strange pathogen. During the first week, humans were infected with a virus showing cannibalistic behaviour only to their own species. Biting. Eating the flesh of ones own species. Violent behaviour. It baffled scientists at it's cause, wondering what it is. Animals however, were invisible to the infected Omnivores. Humans were ignoring the Herbivores and Carnivores. Until, they too got infected. Somehow they did. Whatever caused it, they can see both human and animal as their prey. Even if their prey are carnivores. The army lost control within the first month. Airports shut down in areas nearby, while flights didn't dare to go back to Australia. No other country was willing to take Refugees. But one showed compassion and opened it's doors. One female scientist in the military made it a goal to find a solution before things get bad. ___________________________________________ Warnings: Blood descriptive depth of Injury and blood. Earth's been home to humanity since time immemorial. Considered omnivores, everyone keeps each other safe from those who aren't so kind. Animals keep us stable in many ways we can't understand thoroughly. However, a noticeable climb in missing cases was building up in certain countries. It laid a noticeable pattern. But there was nothing else that could be done. Until it escalated in North Carolina. But a typical routine patrol in another continent would bring catastrophic obstacles upon four individuals, where a standard investigation in New Zealand of a pursuit turned into a nightmare, discovering an anthropomorphic society before their eyes on accident.
