In the not-too-distant future, robotics has achieved the impossible: machines with souls, consciousness, and purpose. Among them is Jazzom Killcannon, a military prototype designed by the Allies in World War II to turn the tide on the battlefield-and to never disobey.

As the war drew to a close, the Allies feared that Jazzom might become a problem. Thus, under orders from high command, he was deactivated and stored in a secret bunker.

Decades later, with the advancement of technology and the emergence of Jenny Wakeman (XJ-9), the military forces retrieved Jazzom from hibernation. Fearing that Jenny might turn against humanity, they decided to reactivate and reprogram him with a new purpose: to destroy XJ-9 should she pose a threat.

Placed under the watch of Dr. Wakeman, Jazzom tries to adapt to the new era, where soldiers of war have no function or use.

But when a simple robot dog leads him to a forgotten base beneath the ice, Jazzom discovers something that changes everything: his creator, the legendary Dr. Aldous Reinhardt, was murdered by the very government that funded him.

The search for answers leads him to break the laws that defined him, freeing himself from his directives and his blind obedience. Now, alongside Jenny Wakeman, a teenage android with a human heart, and the brilliant Dr. Nora Wakeman, Jazzom must decide who he truly is-a weapon or a being capable of feeling.

Between erased memories, buried secrets, and feelings he doesn't understand, Jazzom will have to choose: obey what he was programmed to do-or fight for what he believes is right.
