This poem describes the brief moment between life and death for a pedestrian. What goes through your mind before you die? People say your life flashes before your eyes but I don't believe that. I believe it just happens, a split moment and then you die. The noises in caps are sounds heard while the man is dying. "STOP" is being yelled by another pedestrian. "BANG" is the sound made by the car hitting their body. "SLAM" is the sound of the body hitting the ground. "WOOP" is the call of the ambulance. The rest of the poem is a brief discussion between the man that died and Death.
