James Potter's first introduction into the true wizarding world starts with a broken clock, a heart-to-heart with his father, running into a snobby, very rude kid with a strange brother who he tells himself he doesn't like, and wounds on his palms that he'll continue to bring up long after they heal.

Basically, James Potter is young, dumb, ridiculously immature, and has no idea what he's getting into.

Good thing he meets 3 other young, dumb, and ridiculously immature kids. Now they can wander the world in confusion together. :)
