Where the Daylilies Die

When a hurricane tears through the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Whitley Ranch is left in ruins, and the body of a man floats to the surface. As the floodwaters recede, the Whitley family faces not only the wreckage of their home but the unraveling of everything they thought they knew about one another. In the mud and silence of Appalachia, where good people do terrible things to survive, even the daylilies can't grow without death.
