A futuristic world constantly under siege by night demons - beings who thrive in darkness. They can't die unless exposed to direct sunlight - the only thing that weakens them.
Because of this, humanity lives in fortified solar cities, protected by artificial sunlight barriers created by the Hero League, a government organization that trains Sun Guardians - humans with special powers meant to hold off the demons.
