It had been almost two years since Xie Lian had fought White-no-face, and it had been just as long since Qi Rong's host body had been burned to a crisp, and his soul had dispersed into many, many fragments.
So, Xie Lian, for the sake of making Guzi happy (and saving Lang Qianqiu's sanity from the everlasting questions the kid annoyed him with), had decided to try to stich his cousin's soul back together.
Basically, Qi Rongs redemption arc, because I know at least 3 of you might want to read something like this :)
Yes, this is Post-Canon and might be a bit OOC, so I apologise in advance.
There might be a bit of Qi Rong x Lang Qianqiu, but I'll warn you at the start of those "romance"-heavy chapters.
Comment something nice if you like it, and don't forget to share with other TGCF fans!
Again: The Characters are not mine! All rights to the characters go to MXTX, I am only the one who wrote the fanfiction! I am currently only on Wattpad, so please write me if, through some miracle, someone finds this and decides to repost it on AO3!!
Personally, I genuinely hate this story. Might remake it in the future :)

*Ahem ... Third wheeling Hualian😉 《 Protagonist POV 》 Being a big fan of MXTX and Tgcf, I always wondered what if I could just get inside the novel and experience everything in front of me? What if I could change some of the most tragic parts of the story? What if I could meet Hualian!? But obviously it's impossible to get transmigrated into some novel... Still, after knowing Shen Qinqui, there were a few rays of hope left... Shall I slander the author and try dying to be a part of my favorite novel? I did get transmigrated into tgcf !! *********** " Where am I? Which place is this? " I suddenly look around at my surroundings and find a woman wearing black robes sitting next to me. She looks at me with a smiling face and starts speaking... " You are awake? That's great! Welcome to the Heavenly Court as a new Heaven Official ! " But the moment I hear her speak and look at her face carefully, I feel my soul escaping from my body... " You - you are Ling Wen !!?
