Hawkins, Indiana, seemed to finally be quiet. The Upside Down was sealed, Vecna was gone, and the gang was starting to believe in normal life again. Max Mayfield, finally free from her literal and metaphorical demons, just wants to skate, listen to her tapes, and maybe, just maybe, figure out what "living" really means.
Eleven, now officially Jane Hopper, is adjusting to everyday high school life, navigating algebra and friendship drama-a welcome change from fighting interdimensional monsters.
