The Blackline

The Blackline is a sultry and supernatural, tale set in 1929 in the hidden quarters of Little Rock's Black district, where flappers, vice, and hoodoo tangle in velvet-lit shadows. Violet, a timid Gullah Geechee girl with nowhere else to turn, finds herself working in a brothel run by the enigmatic Stack Moore-a pimp with charm, secrets, and a past steeped in sin. But it's Stack's older twin, Smoke, who consumes Violet's thoughts. A war-worn man of few words, Smoke commands the room with silence alone.
